Rowing for Samoa — eligibility and contact
Samoa Rowing wants to hear from rowers of Samoan heritage anywhere in the world, and from anyone in Samoa who wants to learn as the programme starts up.
Where things stand:
- Citizenship and passports are decided by the Government of Samoa, not by Samoa Rowing, and every case is different. What we can do is explain what World Rowing requires of an athlete representing Samoa and put your situation in front of the right people.
- Membership and the selection policy come into force at the September 2026 General Assembly. Until then we are a small team, and we answer our mail.
If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to write to us on your behalf.
Write to talofa@samoarowing.org and tell us who you are, where you row and what you are aiming at. We usually reply within two weeks.
