Rowing for Samoa — eligibility and contact
Samoa Rowing wants to hear from rowers of Samoan heritage, wherever you are in the world — and from anyone in Samoa who wants to learn to row as the domestic programme takes shape from 2027.
A few honest notes on where things stand today:
- Citizenship and passports are decided by the Government of Samoa, not by Samoa Rowing — every case is different, and we won't pretend otherwise. What we can do is explain what World Rowing requires of an athlete representing Samoa, and put your situation in front of the right people.
- The Association's domestic structures (membership, selection policy) stand up from the September 2026 General Assembly onward. Until then, we're a small team — but we answer our mail.
If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to write to us on your behalf.
Write to talofa@samoarowing.org — tell us who you are, where you row, and what you're aiming at. We aim to reply within two weeks.
