Daniel rowed for Samoa at the 2016 Olympic qualification regatta for Asia and Oceania and at the 2017 World Rowing Championships, two of the few appearances under the Samoan flag in the federation's history. His family is from Malie. He leads the Association's re-establishment: the September 2026 general assembly in Apia, the constitution prepared for it, and Samoa's return to World Rowing's Oceania development programme.
Daniel tells his own story, of how he came to rowing, at rowdanielrow.com.
