How we handle your details

The short version: we collect only what you give us, we never sell it, and one email removes you.

What we collect

Whatever you type into the Get Involved form — name, contact details, where you're based, how you'd like to be involved — or send us by email. Nothing else: no accounts, no advertising data.

Where it lives

In the Association's Google Workspace. The interest form is hosted by Google Forms.

Who sees it

The Association only. We never sell details and never pass them to anyone for marketing. The one exception is what the Association's own registration in Samoa requires: if you later choose to be named as a member, your name may appear in filings to Samoa's Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Labour or to SASNOC — and we will ask you before that happens. Nobody goes onto a register from the interest form alone.

Under 18

Young people can register interest themselves, with a parent or guardian's contact included; anything we send a young person includes their parent or guardian. If a parent or guardian isn't included, we don't make contact.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to remove you, or until the Association's first annual general meeting after registration, when we review the list and delete anyone we have had no contact with. Email talofa@samoarowing.org saying “remove me” and we will delete your entry and confirm.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics to count visits — no advertising features, no cross-site tracking.
